Prosodic means’ interaction in realising the anecdote humorous effect

In the paper, on basis of auditory analysis English spoken anecdotes authors come up with system prosodic means that serve to create text humorous effect. To define specificity a complex interaction emotional, pragmatic, structural and semantic factors means’ functioning in anecdotes, we substantiated two algorithmic models presenting story-line development: one being similar structure fairy tale (introduction → commentary code), other resembling riddle (topic code). By way using these as well traditional method linguistic interpretation results, substantiate prosodic, lexico-grammatical stylistic an anecdote oral actualisation within its components. It has been found out realisation effect is ensured by predominance unidirectional language all levels leading role aimed at drawing listeners’ attention anecdote’s two-plane semantics key lexical units, thus stimulating their thinking activities while decoding humour anecdote.
